Bruce
Bruce was the first puppy that Brandon and Erika raised together. Born on March 24, 2004, Bruce joined the family at 8 weeks of age. Initially, Bruce was supposed to be just a pet, but his breeder, Pam McCune convinced us to start showing. Little did we know where that would lead us.
Bruce took a Group 4 at the Puppy Match
Bruce really wants to be a lap dog, but if the girls are hogging the couch, he's happy just being close to one of us (though he really is a mama's boy). He enjoys strutting his stuff in the conformation ring, but really loves doing Rally Obedience with Erika. The crowd always cheers for Bruce, whether he's flying over a jump or rolling over onto his back!
His huge square head is his best feature, but its his graceful movement around the ring that usually turns heads. He's very active, so we have trouble keeping his weight up, but one day we'll hit up on his perfect supper.
